Hope & Heal Breast Cancer Survivor Program 2021

On October 23 2021, Dr Saptarshi Ghosh conducted a breast cancer awareness camp in Siliguri. The event was organized to make the maximum number of people aware regarding breast cancer and its repercussions.

The primary aim of this camp was to make the general public believe that cancer is curable with early detection and you should not delay a consultation with a doctor. Medical science has evolved massively and over 50 patients were present after surviving this hazardous ailment. It is evidence that breast cancer can be cured with appropriate medication and early detection. People were also made aware of methods like self-breast palpation, ultrasound testing of bilateral breasts, regular mammograms that are helpful in detecting cancer early.
